Teamwork

The school year is in full motion! The usual start of the year is consumed by many folks trying to take action. Many contact us to see if we can help them do what God has placed on their heart and mind, impacting teenagers with the gospel. There is much to share, but allow us to focus on one story!

Eric and his team of college students are busy finding out what God is up to this year at Madison Central High School in Richmond, KY. This group of college students lead Student Venture there and have been very busy this fall.

They have been reconnecting with students who were involved last year, attending athletic events, meeting new students, hosting a bonfire event and beginning their weekly Bible Study. All of these activities help move the movement towards calling students into a relationship with Christ, building up these young believers in their faith and encouraging the students to view themselves as missionaries to their peers, carrying the love of Christ back to their school.

It is my privilege to meet Eric each week over the phone to talk through strategy, encourage them in their good work, check to see if he is walking well with the Lord and pray for God to be lifted up in the work they do. It is a tremendous opportunity to be a small part of a great thing that is taking place hours away in Kentucky.

Our team (ministry partners) empowers his team (Eastern Kentucky students) to reach their world (Madison Central High School). That is a beautiful thing! Thank you!!!
