We want to update you on what is happening in the ministry.
Livermore Household
We are long past spring break and moving rapidly into end of the year concerts and spring and summer sports. As a ministry opportunity and a means to help a friend, I agreed to be the Commissioner for Jonathan’s 4th grade baseball league. It provides abundant opportunities to meet parents of boys his age, create a fun baseball environment and extend Christ’s reign over every area of my life. Talk of plenteous free time and work opportunities is common among the Livermore students as they get closer to summer vacation! Both girls are thankful for steady babysitting jobs.
Pray: As we live and move around this spring and summer pray, that by God’s grace, we would love our children and the people we have the unique pleasure to interact with well, to the end that many might come to know Christ!
Indy Student Venture
The advent of spring has created several changes for our local Student Venture team. Our interns are headed into new ministry directions and God is providing other laborers to join our team. Our prayer is that the final result of all the change will be more students hearing and responding to the gospel, that more schools will be impacted by the influence of Student Venture and that God’s name will be made great! We are especially excited about the way God is putting things in place at Purdue University and Ball State University in Indiana and Eastern Kentucky University in my regional role.
Summer Travels
This is a Colorado summer for us! As you may know, every other year Campus Crusade for Christ (of which Student Venture is a part) holds their staff conference in Fort Collins, CO. We will travel there in the middle of July for eight days. There are also plans for camp, Student Venture Getaway and our church Bike Hike. Pray that the time together would create appreciation for each other and blessing to each other through our interactions as a family.
Celebrate this!
